I was glad there was finally an introduction of a strong female lead, unfortunately she was the psychotic vampire who must be destroyed. Kelly herself was impulsive and flaky. First she tries to off herself by jumping off a bridge. She's saved by Ramsey, falls in love with him and begs him to turn her without actually thinking it through. It's painful to watch the realization hit her that it can't be undone. Boy meets girl, saves girl, turns girl into a vampire, slays bad guy and they all live happily ever after.
